Agreed, i.e., great to here that Australia is containing the Pandemic and looking positive from the stats. Here in the US based on the info I received from our CMO (Chief Medical Officer) from an AZ perspective (and the nation at large) is we're still facing a peak of cases throughout the month of May. Without the stay-at-home orders this was originally targeted well into June. So progress is being made but we all still have to stay diligent and do our part in slowing the spread. Stay healthy and that includes individual "me time" behind the wheel of the 8-series as it too is isolation by design.

Thanks look forward to hearing what he/she has to say. Personally I think the all clear returning to normal is far too soon...as the famous line by Remo in the movie Casino goes "why take a chance?" At least my wife and I have the luxury of working from home but we feel for those who cannot. Scary stuff.

In fact our Governor's update to the "stay-at-home" Executive order that enables various business to open up in the staged steps throughout May extended the overall guidance to stay at home through May 31st. As a business, we have already decided to not try to bring everyone back into the buildings whatsoever until likely the end of June at the earliest. For some of the functions that are better served in the office vs working from home, e.g., our call centers we're going to stage that in next month but at 50% occupancy and rotation (week by week some will continue to work at home and the others in the office) to ensure social distancing, etc. In fact we're retooling all of the workplace environment to support the requirements. On top of that if you want to consider the fact beyond everything we've done to date from a business standpoint, e.g., waiving all co-pays for COVID-19 related services we also have an order of 1B (yep that's a B) n95 masks in play to provide 4 to every member of our insurance plans. If we didn't feel that stay at home and masks were essential we would not put our money where our mouth is. The irony is the order is in with my last company whom made the news recently as they opened up 4 manufacturing lines for N95 masks and the President just toured one here in Phoenix earlier in the week. |
