Anyone try Pilot Sport 4 All Seasons?

I was at the BMWCCA MiX event this weekend. They had some Michelin reps there including the guy who apparently designed the PS4? I was talking to him about my winter tire thoughts. New tires vs new wheels and tires. This would be for driving in cold, maybe a little light dusting of snow, but nothing major.

I asked him if it's really a problem taking tires on and off wheels, trying to sort out fact vs fiction from what I've read on the internet. He said with this low profile is tires it takes a skilled tire tech to get them on without damaging the bead so it could potentially be risky.

After talking to him for awhile he suggested just getting the Pilot Sport 4 All Seasons and just leaving then on year round. I'm not going to track the car so I'm not likely to notice much difference on a DD and they have a 40k warranty so will certainly get me to the end of my ownership. I asked him if the PS5's were coming out. He said initially only from the manufacturer on new cars and likely not even available in AS before I sell my car in 3ish years. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't a reason to wait for them.

And I dug the PC's ///M wall.

I have them on my GC since this past winter. I really like them

I drove with them in about 3-4 inches of snow and was fine. No issues in slush. Perform well in rain and I did some recent spirited driving in summer time and felt very comfortable. For now I plan to rock them all year round

I even bought a set for my x5m.

Thanks for the real world feedback.

I have them on the wife's X3 M40i and love them on there... Squishy and more comfortable than many other tires. They go over rough road very nice and work well in the rain. I have no snow experience with them though.. Not sure how they would feel on the M8, they will take away performance and in general feel.

I might be wrong but because you can't rotate tires, (different sizes front to rear) isn't the treadlife warranty cut in half?
