I dont mind spending a few more bucks to get the car locally--- I just havent done any work or research on it. There is a nicer 162k msrp car in white over here but Im lazy so I havent started an approach.

Which Porsche did you get? I just got one also. Let's compare notes!

I have had an 18 GTS for a bit--- see sig. I think I read up that you got a 992- I did an extended test drive on the 4S and really enjoyed it.

Yeah I was considering the m8 but honestly the 992 drove much better. I wound up with a 2020 992 Carrera S cab. It's Agate gray with black interior. I am really enjoying it and want to get it tuned.

Well, it depends. I got $26k off plus incentives last December and was now offered the same car for a larger discount (in the 20% range). That was before asking anything. I don’t know if BMWFS is helping their dealers like MB is but small stores can’t manage these big ticket cars.

Don’t recall the total inventory of M8’s but think it’s about 900?
50/50 on coupes/cabs with just a few GC’s floating around.

A lot of cabs are non-comp though.

Yeah there are alot of Cabs--- Wolfgang--- sitting... hell there are alot of cars in general sitting across the board. I have my local Audi dealer with 9 Audi RS5 Sportbacks that are all 19's LOL. Talk about missing the price point on that car!

I think 20% is doable here plus the 3k loyalty if not a few more thousand but that would be on a launch car Ill bet that has been sitting.

From where I stand, that's a good deal. My rear seats cost me a lot apparently.

Is that with tax/reg? Including incentives?
Please post the actual discount of the car for better feedback

I can't imagine that 20% isn't easy anywhere in the country for launch cars and should be for all models. Pricier cars only become more difficult to move.

I like our M8 and for the deal it was an easy move but in hindsight I miss the CCB's.

I do believe there is flagship money on launch models right now--- thats why I think those will go the easiest.

Thats cause your car is a GC and not a launch car. Its monies allocated for certain units. (we talked about this on email to an extent but not in depth).

Yup. I recall... didn't recall that particular aspect, though. Any idea why? Not a big enough market...

Its kind of hard to articulate nor am I an expert on the retail end of this particular process; its almost like a super hold back on certain high models (7 series, I8, 8 series). Its not driven by market but allocated based on the model associated with the benefit. I was told there are no flagships right now so my thoughts on the M8 are not in play as I might have hoped. All good as I still fancy the F90 enough.

Some of the m8 comp coupe and convertible have $10k in flagship depending on when they were built so the dealer discount should be 16-18% off before loyalty rebate

The 2019 M850 coupes and convertibles have $12k in flagship so the dealer discount should be 21-23% before loyalty.

I've been on Leasehackr as a broker for a while, but I've seen some prices members on Bimmerpost have paid and wanted to see if I can help, thanks!

You have to be on crack to spend $140k on the M850i.
