2022?????

So I have a 2019 m850 convertible leased. I love the car and since first drive I figured M8 competition convertible would be next. I see the deals that people have been getting and I'm jealous allot pay less then I do for my m850.
I know 2021 no coupe or vert coming to America but what do we think about 2022? I can't imagine BMW bringing them back just to have to struggle to sell them for over 20% off MSRP. That said that's exactly what I'm hoping for.

My understanding is that the M8 coupe and convertible are still being produced for other markets, so bringing it back for 2022 wouldn't be that difficult. That said, I would expect that production will be extremely limited to prevent surplus inventory remaining on dealer lots at the end of the model year, much like the 2020 M850i coupe and convertible. The kind of discounts we're seeing now are unlikely to be repeated.

I placed an order for a 2022 m8 comp convertible in Maryland dealership. they claim to have allocations for m8 convertible.

I'm glad to hear that. Any discussion on pricing when you placed the order? Do you expect to pay full MSRP?

$160 plus tax = $169k on a $180k MSRP fully loaded with added full leather and custom paint.
