Gran Coupe F93 Cargo Net?

Hello folks

New to the forum, and the proud owner of a new to me 2021 M8 GC in Frozen Bluestone, with Silverstone leather… it’s for sure an upgrade from my previous AMG C63S (except maybe the exhaust sound but you can’t have everything)…

My last car came with a very useful elasticated cargo net for the boot (trunk) and I have been searching BMW’s websites, Amazon and eBay for a genuine BMW accessory that fits the GC, but to no avail…

Has anyone in here already found the right part for their GC? I imagine there will be perhaps a standard part that fits multiple models (I have found BMW nets that fit 3s,4s etc.) but I want to be sure I get the correct size.

I would love to know as well…..the ‘storage’ in the boot of the 8 Series is a tad on the laughable side for a car at this price point.

There is a BMW rubber floor tray available - a good investment to my mind.

Many BMW models are offered this (square) cargo net from the accessory catalog. Measure the distance between your tie downs to see if this would still fit even though not listed for the 8 series. Do you have 2 or 4 tie downs in your trunk?

And some of the SAVs are offered a “flexnet” (an envelope type net that can be used horizontally or vertically)…see #5 in diagram below…but this net also fits many other SAVs & Tourings that aren’t listed as an accessory for them:

And there’s also the luggage net from the original e31 8 series (#30) in the diagram below:

These velcro nets from amazon worked nicely with the rear wheel wells for me.
