Using them has been great, they did squeel at first but over ~50 miles they started getting more queit. Pedal feel was noticabilly softer compared to the oem I had before(could be wear difference) I honestly need more time to come to a proper conclusion but so far so good, they slow me down.

The rears should fit as long as the sizing matches with my post I mentioned that the rear pads are shared across many models so you might find it in stock under a different car model again just make sure the dimensions are the same 121.9 x 117.6 x 18.1 for the fronts
and 116.1 x 74.8 x 16.7mm for the rears I believe its wider on one side (80.8mm) so double check it possibly due to wear sensor not sure why.

The fronts I fitted part number: DP32304C

Dont think I'll be able to report on the brake dust preformance of it since the roads here have gotten dirty with all the snow and salt I'll try to wash it before a hard drive and report back with my findings.
Thanks for the update, can you confirm that these are the correct rear brake pads you got?

Part number: DP32320C
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...rakes-dp32320c

Looks like both DP32304C and DP32320C are available on fcpeuro so I will likely buy them and get my current pads changed out for dust reasons.

I have the bluestuff ndx a try, arriving soon. I cannot imagine any pad will hold up long in our cars given the weight but the ndx have a fairly high heat threshold and cold performance similar to the yellow.

What other top brake pad brands make sets for the 8 series?

That weight on the stock pad is to reduce squealing.
ISweep don't need it since it doesn't squeal.
Thought I'd post again. My IS1500's have been on my 850i for about 12K miles. Suddenly the brake queal is relentless. Tried some high speed stops, still squealing like a freight train. Will likely disassemble the fronts and relube with CRC Disc brake quiet again and repost my results.

Anyone else having issues and or sucess with these or other dustless pads? Cookae, how have you been doing with reds?

Sounds like something got stuck between the pad and rotor.

I have it on my G05 X5 for 20k miles with no single issue.
Rear is wearing out and need replacement soon.

I would have thought that as well, however it goes from minimal squeal to full on freight train at times. Any shot of getting them to add the weights like the factory pads?

Just came across someone posting that they went with these POWER STOP Z231868 Z23 Evolution Sport Ceramics, they have the factorystyle weights on them as well

I talked to them about it, they said it is not needed unless there was a flaw in the pad and weight is needed to absorb the vibration.
In iSweep case, weight is not needed.
I have sold at least over 1000 sets on this without weights and no single issue.

Reds have been great, still get a noticeable amount of brake dust but a lot less than stock. Unfortunately Ive only driven about 3000 miles and through those the only things is comment about is the slight squeel if I haven't used the car in a while and lightly tap the brakes beyond the first time it's pretty much silent and feels similar to stock pads. Also for some reason on the rear the pads don't quite fully cover the rotor so it doesn't clean up about a 3mm circle around the hub I'll see if i have a picture of what it looks like.

Since I have to pull the pads off, decided to try the powerstops seeing that they were only $60 for the pair. Will post the results....

Put the powerstops in, no squeal. We will see if it lasts.

Discovered it's time for tires, glad I had a spare set in the shop ready to go!

Is that product failure with all that tread left? Maybe worth having it looked at, might get a prorated credit on them.

Installed blue stuff ndx with new Brakenetic rs rotors. The pads are squealing like swine after 50 miles. Almost unbearable tbh. Not sure if anyone had this experience.

After a call wth ebc, they said to give it a 100 to 200 miles then they will look to replace the pads.

Damn! I can relate, the squeal is killer. My new pads have been dead silent thus far at 500 miles

I'm on set three of mine not lowered either but I have not seen that wear with that center tread... Doesn't mean it isn't somewhat normal just not my experience.

Just for the first 20miles or so… I’ve just changed the rotors and went with RED stuff this time… again it squealed just a little for the first few miles until it settled, but now no squeal whatsoever, very happy… I don’t track my car hence cannot conpare yellow va red stuff, on the street I can’t tell the difference
