The irony now is I absolutely love the full leather interior including the dash so it is hard for me to picture the car otherwise with additional trim components. Hence, the comment was more along the lines of an expectation for the "flagship" series but overall I'd take the 8-series interior over a M5 as per my original statement. |

Yes, you answered it. In an arrogant and pompous way. To everyone else, thank you and I'm sorry this thread is now getting sophomoric.

I'd love to see that, too. Beyond someone bursting with Photoshop skills, I think that's unlikely but I'd love to see the two side-by-side... anyone?

I had a m6 gran coupe...
I had a m5 comp which is probably the greatest daily driver ever in my opinion. My loaded m5 was perfect. I sat in a m8 comp.... I'm sorry it's just not worth the $ and it's already proven. 15%+ off already. The side and rear profile in the gran coupe is awkward I think. |

RS7....meh, boring.
Car is slow compared to the M's.....and flashing it at the risk of voiding the warranty in a car that probably has a $40k engine shouldn't be necessary.

I'm sure it's going to look great as the barrage of available mods comes along but the performance is disappointing, agreed. I wonder if they're saving it for the no-doubt-imminent 'Performance' model....
