This will be very interesting guys stay tune !!

Updated with dyno results below! If I went with an agressive tune it'll be 900 to the crank. That tune was ran on 93 octane.

Indeed, wonder if in stock form its factory baseline rating is underrated by the same % as the M850's? If so it should be close to 650+hp.

My guess is closer to 675hp stock and with DP and a mild tune will be over 800hp. DPs added 45hp to my modded M6 alone.

Yup that's it not trying to go crazy with it yet!

It's a new platform you can't just go crazy with it they could of easily have me 750whp but that's not the safe way to go

Your my hero today. Any straight side pics.
It doesn’t even look like you need a drop. Small gap but the 21’s seemed to fill the gap pretty good

That’s was what I was thinking. I rather not mess with suspension if not needed. Comfort level feels pretty good now

Looks great. Seems you are making gains slow and steady. 580hp to wheels with at least 10% resistance is closer to 650hp stock. Also not sure you did the break in yet. Usually after break in it makes more power in chunks. Our X3Mc is absolutely stupid now with nothing but race chip and 10000miles on the clock. It probably makes 600+ hp which is what race chip got.

My guess is your car stock with a 3000 miles will put down 600+ at the wheels. With tune probably closer to 700 at the wheel or around 780-800hp. I would be careful to too aggressive a tune with torque as several trans failures have been reported and your car is not fully broken in. BMW has been a PIA about tuned cars lately. Even my dealer got pushed out of doing tunes including Dinan and intakes and exhausts unless BMW performance part.

That dyno that is completely shown is weird, the pre-tuned lines are higher than the tuned lines through to about 6200rpm. They almost look like they are different cars being compared - potentially the blue one being an N/A car?

But below that the one with the partial picture shows the lines starting at the same point and the red one ramping up much higher, I'd like to see a full picture of that one if possible.

edit - just saw Performante in the text so I think that complete picture looks like a stock M8 vs a Performante. Would be good to see the full picture of it tuned.

Absolutely beautiful. I haven't done much research coming from the S63TU, but have they changed the internal rotating assembly to fully forged?

Awesome numbers!

There are already a bunch of super powerful m5's with simple mods.

I saw few videos of m5 with 800 crank hp take down 911 turbo s, Ferrari pista, f12 superfast, r8 v10 etc. YouTube channel DSC OFF ( it's in Russian but you can still see the races)
His m5 is m5 comp, dp, exhaust and 91 oct tune

So at 900 your car will be unstoppable
