I do like the Tanzanite Blue ii as well. So its a choice between these 2. Yeah November the dealer said, where as the M440i you can get within 3 months. Thank you ;-)
Nice….only comment I would make is maybe consider a light interior….in my opinion the black BMW interiors are pretty somber…I have Dravit with Ivory White….and love it!

Each to their own though…l.

I’ll def speak to Sytner and see what lead time they have got. I’m putting a big deposit down and wanting lower monthly for pcp. Think it’s 4.9 per cent apr for it, the dealer has said they have included discounts but not said how much. I will try negotiate more and see if they can price it down a bit more, let’s see. Thanks 😊

Dravit with Ivory sounds good, will see how it specs up. Choice of blue or dravit grey for me. I had black interior in my white 430 series, get what you mean about being somber, will look at different colours for interior. Thanks mate

It can feel a little crashy over the poorer roads, but all BMWs are like that really! Yeah I love it - it’s my second 8 series.

Out of interest actually, was your lead time quoted based on individual paint or just a normal metallic? I believe that can slow orders down sometimes.
Dealer said next available slot for the 840i GC was November where as for the 440i, I could get it within 3 months. Don’t think lead time was due to the colour. Thanks for the review on the 8 series. I currently been driving 430d M sport for past 8 years, so want the 8 series to be a better drive than what I currently got. Good mpg for motorway driving looks like. Thanks mate

Make sure they’re breaking the quote down properly for you mate - ask what THEIR deposit contribution is / front end discount. I’ve just gone on to Broadspeed just now - 22.2% discount from list available with just a few clicks. I’d be expecting any dealer to at least match that. Ring around a good 4 or 5 and get the best price!

Thanks buddy for sharing that. I will get a break down of the quote from them in the next day or two. I can tell them about this broad speed quote. Thanks a lot mate, will let you know how it goes :-)

skumar55 no worries - definitely push them hard. Worst comes to the worst, order via Broadspeed - they’re great to deal with. For reference, I went on Coast2Coast too (never used them), but they’re showing 20% discount too. Good luck!

That’s a really good price ! I will mention all this to the dealer and hopefully they give me a good competitive price. Thanks for your input in this, appreciate it mate ! Looking forward to the 8 series now lol

22% off is very good. If they can’t match I’d go with Broadspeed. You will still buy from a main franchised dealer as Broadspeed are only the broker - any deposit will be paid directly to the dealer and not the broker so your safe.

Mate, your car looks amazing. Lovely pics, love the colour, like both the blue and the grey and light ivory interior. Tough choice for me. Thanks for sharing pics, amazing ;-)

Good choice of alloys as well. It's either them or these

Love those alloys. Wanted them as well but could not get with the M Sport Pro pack. Strange and annoying how BMW sometimes package things together.

Yes very pleased thanks.

Extremely refined drive, plenty of power on tap, lots of gadgets and enough space the haul the kids.

I came from a 640D Gran Coupe and this has been a step up in all areas.

VP007 Good to see another local GC! I was in the lane to go to Co-op in my Tanzanite Blue GC, not sure if you saw me too? Strangely my other half has a Peugeot 208 too haha - small world eh!?
