Any thoughts on new LR Discovery?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plnRjbvU4ew

I just saw this video and sold on many levels.
I think LR did a good job balancing the material quality/technology/functionality. Interior isn't built to impress but does give you many options none other can at the moment, exterior isn't something you fall in love instantly but lines are elegant yet very functional in design.

What are your thoughts?

This new model seems to be a better LR Discovery in terms of off road capabilities as well as handling but design wise I miss this present model , some say it's too boxy but it's how a off road vehicle with SUV should be

Whenever I think of british built vehicles I cant help but think of the old days and the lucas electricals on them

iirc there was an expression like "Lucas, the lord or darkness" and their proclivity to leave you without lights or any other electrical function at the worst of times

My M Coupe had lots of Lucas electronics. I assume most current BMW's do too.

Very nice! The old, "boxy" one was my wife's dream car.

Considering the Discovery is among the least reliable vehicles sold in the U.S. in the past 25 years ... ummm, no.

It can looks like the Jaguar E Type of SUVs and I'd say no. That, combined with RR's protectionist marketing and pricing policies ...
