Are you saying the giant touch screen in the M8 is also not usable?

The climate controls on my M5 are touch and they work just fine. Please explain...

Point being for a 155k car they could do better.

I'm saying that on a BMW you can control virtual everything via the idrive knob with your hand resting on it which is significantly easier than a full touch system.

On an M5 you have knobs for temperature as well which is what I would adjust while drivng, perhaps not many other AC settings
