911's and 8's/M8 are apples/oranges.

Quick check on car gurus - 995 M8's on ground in USA
Those quantities are nuts. I think I got a really nice deal given that they just landed not too long ago but this will turn ugly midyear...
I remember the 2018 E63s launch. They had 213 Ed.1 units for the US and many sold with markup. There was literally a vacuum for the first couple of months.

It helped MB to tighten the dealer inventory on some of these specialty models although the GT63s has been sitting due to their enormous price premium.

As of now cars.com says 658 M8 not counting the GC

It's an amazing vehicle no doubt. Unfortunately that number is probably 500 more than the demand for em.

Drove one. Liked it, felt like every other Bmw inside. Bought a 2020 911... not as fast but handling and toss ability miles diff imo. Paid much less even with M8 15%+ discount
Nice! Like the 911 and the new ones are so much faster. Was looking at a turbo but the new one will be $160-170 to start and the turbo S much more. Also my long commute and some of the rural hospitals would frown on it vs a BMW, albeit a nice BMW seems to draw a quick look and people move on. I had a 2009 turbo and it was cobalt blue. Couldn't drive it anywhere without someone commenting on it. On a side note wifey loves 911s so when the kiddies are out of college and I take on a teaching job call me in!

The 2020 911 is a stopgap until August/September when 992 turbo comes out. My dealer told me july/August with September/October delivery.

Regular Turbo 580hp
Turbo S 650hp

Hoping regular turbo starts around 165k I'm not big into options most of what I would want is standard on turbo

992 interior is phenomenal which is a new for any 911

Love your car Noushy!! Beauty!
