So how are we going with this?
Anyone worked out whether or not the roof component can be removed like on the M Coupe & E46?

FWIW, I had a vinyl roof graphic on my MINI for 2 years and it came off with absolutely zero issues. Of course it would depend on the product used, the adhesive, etc, so YMMV.

Oh im sure it can be removed, but the e46 is really meant to be removed either..

You have to cut it out with a saw and then weld/shave a bunch of stuff down... remove the windshield, whole interior, its a mess of a job...

Your going to have to pay more for the install than the actual CF roof itself..

I was under the impression that the roof panel had a number of weld points, and that it was not structural - ie not a part of the frame. Meh.
