BMW AG and NA are heavily promoting the $13k competition package and as I suspect most orders will be for the base M8. Unless the tweaks for the competition model blow away the reviewers compared to the base M8. Will BMW AG/NA even allow the auto press to compare the two or just make the competition models available when the journalists test/review latter this year?

This is BMW doing things right... holy crap that is a beautiful car.
Honestly it's first six figure BMW I could actually see myself in. Granted I will probably wait a couple years and let someone else take the depreciation hit. But the GC is quite frankly stunning from every angle. I hope the design language is what we can expect to see more of coming from BMW in the future. |
