Returned my 2020 M8 and picked up a ......
So I ended up keeping my base M8 Conv. (Dravit Gray) for the full 36 months and returned it last month.
This was the 2nd car I have ever kept for the full term of the lease. I seriously looked at the new SL63/55 and even with significant discount, I didn't like it at all. I liked the new Maerati Gran Turismo but no vert or V8 yet and also a very different car! So I ended up getting another M8C Conv. (Skyscraper Gray). The first time I have ever leased or purchased the same car! I kept the previous car stock but I have a long list for this one. Here is phase 1. Thanks to Ben and r33_RGSport. - RaceChip GTS Black - Sterckenn Front Lip - AutoTecknic Carbon Alcantara Steering Wheel Trim - BMW M Performance Convertible Carbon and Alcantara Seat Back Set - RW Carbon DTM Trunk Spoiler - BMC air filters - AutoTecknic Dry Carbon Gear Selector Cover - AutoTecknic Bright Red Audio Volume Button - CF Front Grille Surrounds - Full Exterior, Interior, Wheels, Roof, Ceramic Coat Phase 2: - KW Springs - Spacers - Akra Diffuser - Side and front bumper CF piece's to complete the set - Eventuri intake (maybe!) - Secondary Cat Delete - Air Flicks - haven's seen too many M8's with them! Why not? - Custom Steering Wheel (considering!) - IND reflectors (front and rear) - Vorsteiner Rear Bumper Eyebrows - CF Front Grille Surrounds - CF Side Skirt - M PERFORMANCE CF KIDNEY GRILLE A few pics after phase 1 (with my new Duc V4 in the background): |

Congrats, beautiful colour int/ext. Enjoy!
Question on the RaceChip, wouldn't BMW void the warranty if you install it? I'm thinking of installing it on my M850GC but concerned about the warranty! Thanks Quote:

Yes, I did have one major issue with getting an error on "Support from Driver Assistance Restricted". My car sat in the shop for 7 weeks and after 2 senior head engineers they flew in someone from the NA HQ and they fixed it. As painfull as the experience was, it was a unique one and I loved the car so much that I ended up getting another one. I still have an open Lemon case with BMW Corp.

There is a lot of info on this topic. You can easily take it off and there is no data saved on the core ECU so it's not traceable. It's worth every penny in my opinion. It took me a couple of days to really notice the difference, but I love it.
