More X pipe pics

Like others have stated before, replacing the resonator with an x-pipe is definitely the best bang for the buck. $400 all in and the sound is 20-30% more, and yet 0 drone or other odd noises.

Not sure about the M8, but when I installed the X pipe on my Maserati GTS it sounded like a race car. Was awesome.....will do it on my m8 eventually

So I did a resonator delete on my 22 M8C GC Using Dinans XPipe. It states it’s for the F90 but easily fit the F93 with no modifications for it to fit. Also Zero Drone

It does not fit on convertible or coupe it has to modified
I tried it on my old convertible and you need a good shop to modify it

I did same today to my m8gc Got the dinan res delete for the m5 and took to a local shop. Instead of using clamps I just asked them to weld it. Took about 2.5 hours as they had to drop exhaust to do it.

Here you go
1st 2 revs valves were not open.
Skip past 60 sec mark then you hear it with valves open

I think if I had not used x pipe might have been a tad more louder

Overall I am happy because with valves closed just sounds normal

Just did mine today, I had a h pipe welded in but it just didn't sound right. Also had a weird whistle top rpm that I didn't like.
Swapped it out for the X. Seems louder outside the car but quieter inside. Less pops than the hpipe. A lot more refined sounding though.
