Clear shield stone guard

Just had the front fender, hood, front quarters, lower doors and rockers clear shielded!!!! Such an awesome job, you just can’t tell other than the paint surface now looks like glass. Tempted to have whole car wrapped if was not for the cost.

Nice looking car in all respects and great to see you went with 20"ies in winter as 19'een wheels are definitely undersized for such car.

Yep 100% 👍 when you spend that much on a car you got to keep the ride looking right. 20” keeps the stock look all year.

Thanks 🙏 As I own the car not leased (well to expand, financed at 0.49% which is like free money!!!) I could not handle seeing it get sandblasted during Canadian winters.

That is a great rate. I thought the 0.9% I got was excellent. The question I have is can you see a difference between the door panel (without film) and the front fender (with film)? I think you have a black car, mine is Donnington Grey. Don't want to spend $5500 for full protection but still on fence since car will be used lightly.

0.49% with my loyalty bonus.

The colour is Carbon Black which actually is blue, but looks black in certain light and blue in others

No you can’t see any difference at all, not a thing. I really would not full wrap your car. I had the front fender, full hood, front quarters, lower doors which included the rockers and the front lower part of the rear wheel arch that’s $1900 Canadian dollars. I don’t think you would get much benefit of wrapping the whole car, you don’t see lines at all either.

The only time you see a big advantage with full wrap is on the track; when you drop a wheel in the pebbles starts flying everywhere. Rock chips from the trunk to hood.

That is absolutely a killer rate! In December 2019 the best rate I could get (with flawless credit) was 3% (via Loyalty with BMW FS and other sources) so I leased with MSDs to get it down to basically 2.2% for the first 36 months (assuming I buy out the lease).

I had the same done on my M850i (EXPEL Ultimate Plus) minus the rear wheel arch but did include the carbon fiber roof, mirror caps and A-pillar as well. My detailer deconstructed to the front end, e.g., removal of the headlights (which too are PPF'd) so the end result is not a seam to be seen whatsoever.

At BMWFS buy rate of 0.00086 with MSDs on an M8, the APR works out to 1.39%.
Even with no MSDs the APR should be 2.06%.

My wife purchased the 2021 new 4 series at same time and her rate was 2.24% after loyalty. I was amazed when he said 0.49% for the M850, especially when the M5 was 2.24% after loyalty also. I also got $14k off the base price. I guess a brand new 2020 model but purchased in 2021 during a pandemic has its advantages 😍🥰

Yes indeed. My deal was in December 2019 on one of nine 2020 M850i allocations here in the US that was built in October. If memory serves the standard BMWFS financing APR was 3.9% (reduced to roughly 3% with loyalty) and the MF was .00128. The COVID-19 2020 market (March on) obviously made for better deals than what was available earlier for the 2020s.
