Carbon back headrest

Hey guys,
I believe these stick on over the existing plastic back headrest. Does anyone have any experience with these? Are they cheap and shit?

I have those but I bought mine from IND. So I can't comment on the ones you've shown. Mine may be different. They look the same but who knows?
Overall they look cool once installed so if those are nice quality they will look good. I like mine.
That is a good price as well.
Yes they just stick on.

Note if you have your interior ceramic coated like mine it will need to be removed for it to stick well. I had Ben install mine and as he said it wasn't sticking well. At home I had to remove them after some time and use a strong cleaning product to remove the coating. Other than that they are great and break up the solid black look in my vert.

Lot's but basically it just like the exterior version or wheel version, just designed for leather. I have silver stone leather and a convertible so I wanted to do everything I can to protect it. Just about two years in the AZ sun and it has performed very well. I don't remember off top of my head what brand my PPF guy uses but it is still slick. Not slick as in just cleaned with glossy cleaner but more of a soft/smooth feeling. I now have it on all my rides. Water just beads off and well don't ask how I know but coffee does too.....

Same here with the Gtechniq version of interior leather ceramic plus a similar animal for the Alcantera headliner but it's a much lighter mixture of ceramic so it still feels like soft fabric. I too sadly know that coffee beads off as well. 😜

Exactly as if a quality ceramic coating almost nothing will stick to it. When I bought the wife's LCI 40i as a spec off my dealer's lot there was a little add on sticker for $1K stating diamond ceramic coating. I had my CA drop that plus all the other discounts, etc. he layered on top. He knows I have a detailer and didn't want to pay for any dealership applied ceramic coating.

Turns out it was a decent job as my detailer let me know they had to buff/remove the ceramic on the hood and front-end for the PPF install. Otherwise the PPF wouldn't stick whatsoever.

I have them. They are indeed cheap & shit but they certainly do the job. After a few days I got over the imperfections of the weave and the small cracks on the edge of the caps.

Mine were free hand-me-downs from when they were used on a handful of local F80's and F97's. At $130 they're barely worth the price IMO.

Do you have these exact ones? Or you have a pair similar?

Don't know sorry. IMO they're all likely made by a single source at that price-point & retailed by numerous resellers.

Good question! They're purely for aesthetics if that's one's vice.

I mostly like mine, at a zero cost since they were given to me.

The ones I got from IND are basically flawless. Ye they are a nice improvement.
Mine look great and better than stock which is really nothing to look at. Nice thing is you see them thru the window as they are up high. If I had the vert these would be mandatory.
