Damn, that thing looks good.
Maybe the M8 Competition Package Gran Coupe will be the future ride in a couple of years

I'm not getting excited at all.
I remember when the Gran Coupe concpt (what would become the 6GC) came out and I was like "wow".

Rear view = updated 6 series. Not bad but kind of old view. Side view is nice but I believe the concept looked better... wondering what the price will be like...

I think it looks great and I'm sure it will look even better in person.
My only concern is that BMW will have to price this into Panamera territory. |

I'm clearly a total amateur at editing a photo. But, this kinda gives you an idea as to how it would look with a proper kink. Two variations. One may be too similar to the 4GC. But I think either is an improvement.

Absolutely, I haven been ranting about this to everyone I speak to who are into BM's. Why can't they see the gap in market! This is the only reason I got the 4GC instead of M4 because of practicality. M6GC was out of reach. M5 is basically the same shape 5 series but, the 4GC is a sexy looking car. Always turns heads.

Is is just a 5 series GC or is it somehow more fundamentally different?
I mean if I was looking at a 5 series, would this be a logical comparison in terms of ride quality, handling, interior etc. like a 4xx GC vs a 3 series, Or is it more different than that? |

That's pretty much it. I do recall a few reviews of the M6GC saying that it did handle shaper and differently to an F10 M5 but I suspect if you swapped the antiroll bars and springs between them that both cars would handle the same.

I think that's a normal 8 series GC, not M8. But those seats are nice, wow

Actually definitely not the M8 judging by the seats' stitching/perforation pattern. The M8 seats have the rhomboid/diamond-shaped perforation pattern from the 2017 8 Series Concept, these instead are M850i seats except for the headrests, just as the shifter isn't the M8's.
