A- business owner.
'21 M8 GC in BMW P6N (Frozen Dark Grey Metallic).

31 years old. did debate on getting MLVN CAP as a license plate, but decided some wise ass might think I work for them and smash the car to bits.

B for me cyber security engineer and some smart real estate investments in my early 20s .
No major commitments I.e single and no kids by choice lovin and living life !!!!!

I think most gents here ( not me ) have m8s as daily driver with McLarens R8s 991 992s in their stable.

Another factor is marriage and kids- some of my buddies in mid 30s can afford exotic cars but their stone cold wives will start giving them Austin 3:16 stunners all day and night so they settle for a 5 series or a x5.

37 here, I suppose you could say A, but many our age with a mortgage, multiple car payments, kids in private school, etc., have a little bit of E going on. I mean, my M8 is only about 10% of my typical monthly obligational nut, so it's not like it makes a huge difference whether I have it as my DD or something else

Just turn 37 (business owner)

It was B for quiet sometime.. but now A without a Mortgage its paid off..

I invested heavely in my late 20s and early 30s into my business.. kept my liabilities low and didnt want a mortgage. On my mind it just didnt make sense to put down money into a liability (large one too) when I can put it down on a assest (my business).

ALL my friends and family told me you are crazy and even made fun of my way of thinking.. fast forward 10 almost 11 years, Now they still have 20+ years on their mortgage some even refinance and have 28 or 30 years to go while I have no mortgage

I am working heavely on my retirement and base on my numbers and financial planing I should be able to retired by 47-50, but I am shooting for 45 lets see what happens.

I'm nearly 40; but I owned my own business and invest in stock options. My family also flips real estate.

I'm going to guess that you're not going to get very many answers for C, D, & E but I personally fall into the A category. I wish I was C though!

Granted I was 53 when I bought the M850i but I could have easily done it in my 20s/30s classifying as "A". I just chose differently, i.e., shoveling all that cash into investments so when the time came it was a trivial thought process to pursue the passion. Hence, the custom order through two builds (the first failed to meet my specs) with pre-COVID-19 discounts and ultimately the outcome sitting in my garage. I wouldn't change a thing as the M850i puts a smile on my face just seeing it in the garage and obviously 10X when I'm behind the wheel.

I'm 41 M850 Vert. Before Covid I was a solid A now I'm a solid E. But playing the lottery so I hope to fall into that category. I'm also very interested in this sugar momma thing. Traditionally women have cost me far more then cars ever could. If I was celibate lord knows I could have a garage like Jay Leno's. So I figure some money coming back the other way is justified. So if any of you guys know a particulary ugly rich girl please keep me in mind.

All kidding aside I'm an A but in my 20's I had a M6 leased with really no idea how I was going to pay for it. Somehow life was more fun that way.

There are a few females but definitely more a man's car. BMWGirlFL shopped M850i & M8 Coupes but ended up in a Z4. Sacrificing 2 cylinders & roof for small w/ short wheelbase was my best choice. Just play here when Z4 forum is near dead. Similar Z4 thread. Average age much older. Surprising to me.

Z4 is nearly dead. I've only seen a few of those ever, very rare. Nice choice.

Great 2 seater for $50k. Most folks probably need the 2+2 seats in a coupe or 4 seat grancoupe; but if I was single, the z4 is the perfect size.

They come with a 2 cylinder or 4 cylinder or hybrid engines? I don't really follow the z4; but they look nice when I see them. Like a better nicer Masada Miata, which was my first race car with a roll cages.

Closer to $65K for the M40i but tremendous value. B58D/382 HP (840i - B58C/335HP), no hybrid, 3.9s 0-60, not light @ 3457 lbs., 8 speed ZF, Variable Sport Steering, Adaptive M Suspension, M Sport Diff, M Sport Brakes, iDrive 7, ACC, Ambient Lighting, Driving Assistance & Parking Assistant. Driving Assistance Pro & Surround View not options. I think closer to a baby M850i than a Miata. Super cute & fun.
