So I'm in M1 with everything on sport and downshift using the paddles. I then gun it and hit the rev limiter hard. My old M340 would auto shift at red line even if I engaged the paddles. I want the fun of using the paddles sometimes, mainly to downshift, but still want the car to shift up for me (somewhat counter intuitive). Thoughts?

You can do that
When you have the car in D automatic mode Downshift to the gear you want using the paddle shifters and then hit the gas and it will upshift for you
If you start in manual mode it will not change gear unless u do it urself

Hmmm...thought I tried that already too. I'll give her a go tomorrow and see. Thanks!
