Heres a couple of Jaguars losing it later in the day. The weather was changable, the track very, very slippery at times... it's easy to judge. Last edited by MD707; 07-12-2021 at 02:56 AM.. |

Goodwood festival of speed is the best motor show there is in my book: instead of staring at static cars in a showroom, you see the new cars, old cars, strange things, F1, rally cars ... and they all get to run the hill climb if the manufacturer send them there

You need to be able to afford at least 2 before taking it to an HPDE, a good 10 before you could race it, and apparently all of them before you take it to the FOS.

Way to try and recover there, as that was definitely not your point. You had not clue what FOS was by your comment. If you did, you would know that they send MUCH heavier kit down the driveway than a B8. The fact that randy pobst drove an m6 on a track to begin with shows that some people will take such cars to the track. I've never seen an M8 at the track personally, but I've seen X3m's, X5's, panamera's, etc. all doing trackdays with me. Goodwood wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the manufactures that support it by bringing whatever the best is of what they've made, and hooning it down the driveway. That's what makes Goodwood what it is--an incredible annual car event.

Funny when something like this happens, so many people become professional drivers (especially people that have never driven on a track once) and attempt to give feedback as to what actually happened.
At least this guy had the guts to run at Goodwood! He isn't sitting around racking up lame appreciation points by talking!
