Hi all,

I recently got my hands on a 2021 840i grand coupe. I love the car and I am considering doing some simple mods that will make it even cooler.

One idea was to change the grill out to a black one so that it looks more sporty. Does anyone have any suggestions on which one to purchase?

Also, any other suggestions on making simple mods that can have high impact? I'm quite new to making any changes, so I'm not sure if I'm there to making performance mods so mostly cosmetic but I'd be open to suggestions. Thanks all!

In the absence of any other responses BMW do a black grill as standard on the ‘non chrome’ models (I forget what they call it).

As you are in USA I’m guessing you have the hideous side reflectors…getting rid of them would be my first move!!.

Aliexpress has a lot of inexpensive black grills.

A cheap, easy, and easily reversible way would be to use plastidip spray on the grill. Remove the grill before spraying it of course. If you don't like it you can just peel it off.

What do you mean by side reflectors? The yellow ones on the side? Any suggestions on the replacement?

And if I'm going to take them off and put plastic dip, isn't it easier to just get a black grill and replace it? I suppose the difference would be the cost.

Any recommendations on a vendor that's reliable for the black grill?

Correct, the plastidip is just a cost benefit.
