That 911 is really, really quick. Not bad for the M850i although I feel it should've done better. For some reason carwow always manages to make any BMW underperform

A 911 Carrera 4S is definitely not base. It has the more powerful Carrera motor + AWD. The 2017 which has 30 less HP did 0-60 in 3.2 and the 1/4 in 11.5 @ 121. I am sure the new one is faster. What's more impressive is the M850i keeping up with it off the roll race.

I presume nobody is really surprised about this result, not!?
The M850i is the only GT car here. The 911 is also pretty usable as a daily driver, but the one you'll use for most occassions is probably the bimmer. As what refinement and composure concerns, it definitely rules. M8 competition will restore order soon, and how! |

That rolling race was so pointless. Third gear in manual mode when the cars have different gearing and power bands. Why not race them all in their sportiest auto modes and then floor the throttle on go?

You thought that videos like this have a point besides getting people to view them so the creator can get "paid"? Come on now. It's spit them out as quickly as possible, put some people in there that are self-proclaimed "car reviewers", plug a website or beg for "likes, follows and comments" and on to creating the new click-bait video it is.

Exactly what I was thinking. Now that all Porsches have turbos, there is not stopping them.
