wife crashed!!!

Hey y'all. Wife got T-boned in her X5. Here are some pics. Her airbags went off (driver side). She's bruised and shaken, but otherwise OK. Do yo guys thing the car is a total loss? The tire picture demonstrates a piece of teh Toyota Camry that hit her wedges into the tire/rim interspace

Glad to hear your wife is OK, based on the pictures can't really tell if the frame is total damage otherwise they still want to get it fix.

im glad to hear she is ok. thats the most important thing of all. i dont think the car is a loss at all. i dont know how you drive an X5, but from what i would assume, you wouldnt notice anything at all, no serious damage is done from what i see, just take it to a good bmw dealer certified collision shop.

sorry to hear that, but I"m really glad that your wife is ok. Sometimes it's nice to have the added safety of being in an SUV. Don't think that it is totalled either. Was the driver of the camery ok too?

its not a total loss! my buddy's x5 just got t-boned last month by a maxima but his was more severe...and yes the x5's frame is very strong, the maxima t-boned him @ around 65-70mph..the total loss went to that maxima
anyway good thing your wife is ok

Glad she's okay man, now first ya gotta find ouit how much ya X-5 is worth and make sure you take it to Bimmer dealer to get it fixed so depending on how much it cost to fix and how much it's worth will determine if it's a total loss....but it doesn't look to bad to me, but if it is a total...The NEw X5 is so sweeeeeeeeeeeet.

Be sure to look for an BMW shop for the repair if you can. Oh yes the new version of the X5 3.0Si has 260HP perhaps it's time for her to an upgrade.

still waiting to hear from the insurance company...

and technically my wife was at fault for "failing to yield afetr leaving a stop sign". The other woman was illegally in the center divider, but still has the right of way....
