M Performance car cover for M8 if you are curious

Looks great! Side note is I suspect they OEM their car covers from Covercraft which is considered as the industry standard. The suspicion is due to at least for the BMW sun visor I purchased for my wife's X5 it is indeed a Covercraft.

Looks great. Thanks for posting. What material is on the inside? I ask because I am debating about an indoor cover for my convertible but am worried about fur balls.

It's soft but not fuzzy. Feels like microfiber maybe

Thanks for the info and that means they are likely OEM'ing from a European source as it would make no sense to leverage Covercraft in the US and ship from Germany. The bottom line being I cannot see BMW getting into the game of developing car covers when they can OEM from legitimate sources already invested in the technology, manufacturing, etc.

It retails for over $400. I paid $300 but my dealer takes care of me. Thats close to cost

Can you share the part number? I just did a search on the BMW site for M Performance parts and couldn't find a car cover for a M8 or my M850i. Assuming if solely M8 it will in essence fit the M850i as well.
