looks to me like the SCCA thinks stock it's even, but modded the SRT4 is better (at auto X)

You mean SRT-4. The "8s" are 300C, Magnum, Grand Cherokee... But it is still a Neon, and they sound like crap.

that's why nobody here would buy 1 unless they make it their project car for drag racing.

No doubt that they are fast, I tried a charger srt-8. 4000lbs drives like a truck but 420hp. I'm sure they feel great winning a race. But I feel great driving our car even when I ame stuck in traffic. Plus, the fun is when you have similar performance cars racing (victory will depend on skills).

that's why I love going to Auto X, doesn't matter what car you have and you can still do good.

no such thing as an srt8 neon so how can you defend a car that does not exist?

Funny how I just ran into one couple days ago early in the morning - I had no idea this Neon was a SRT4, I thought it was a cheap neon and I just want to pass it. But as soon as I went on to the left and lined up, he looked at me started speeding up - I immediately switched over to sport/Manual and went all out.

Needless to say, it stayed with me, I was about a half car length ahead until we hit around 110 and then he had to get behind me as there was a car in front of him - Then I started to pull away to 120 and after a mile I slowed down to incoming traffic. I was wondering why a neon would dare to race, now I realized that it was a SRT4 - If that is the case, the 330XI didn't do too badly - Seemed like either he was scared to go faster after 110, or the 330 had better power around that speed - I could tell he was pretty pissed because he tailgated me for another mile before pulling off to exit. In any case, did not loose to the SRT4, which would have been embaracing!
