Is it just me or does the 135i look 100x better then the 335i coupe?? Heres some pix for comparision...Vote on looks alone!

I personally like the 135i but its more the style car I'm into. its a bit old school BMW with a flare of sport. the 335i is definitely a classy sleek looking car though.

very hard to compare those two pics, 3er without m kit and 1er pshopped. There are parts of both cars i love and parts which i find hard to look at without squinting at. In a perfect world i would combine the best bits of both car to make the ultimate looking BMW (hmm, could maybe call it a 2er???, ha, ha!). The lights and grill from the 3er with the rear of the 1er, the lenth of the 1er with the width and hight of the 3er. Can't decide on the side profile though, the 1er looks great but i'm still not sure on the "melting" look, and the 3er looks sleek but relatively boring compared with the 1er?!

In short i'm finding it very hard to decide between the looks, especially since i haven't seen the 1er IRL, one things for sure though, the 1er will be so much more the divers car and for that reason my vote goes to the 1er!

ps. anyone fancy having a go at a ps 1er/3er hybrid just for a laugh?

Personally, I prefer the looks of the 135i, but I also like the design of the 335i. In fact, my research regarding the 335i led me to the 135i, so I think both cars look great.

Agreed. The 1 is an evolution of the E46 and E36 styling. The Bangle styles are

I have realy grown on the look of the 135i that I like it more than the 335. And as more and more pics come out of the 135 (especially in Alpine White) It fuels my want for that car even more.

The 3-series has gotten too far away from what the original e21s and e30s were. They were never really luxury car. They were aways just standard German cars ( it just so happened that Germany's standards were a 100x better than any American companies of the time). The 1-series is what the 3-series should be.

I think the 335 is a better looking car than the 135. The 135 is up to date in it's styling, with it's big & bold look and high roof. Cars are getting bigger, heavier, and taller every year. The 135 is too tall.

The 135i is likely to be my next car. Just wish it didn't follow the tall & "bold" trend.
