Hello. New member here. Just bought a 2020 m8 competition. Learning the car, and considering getting a tune such as mentioned in this thread.
A couple of years ago, I put a stage 1 tune on an Audi R3. I was able to pull some logs after placing the tune and noticed that the engine was pulling timing due to my local crappy gas. Ended up adding 2 gallons of ethanol with every fill up to boost octane rating. Logs with ethanol showed no knock or pulling of timing. Has anybody logged their car after changing the factory tune? Is there a program to log these cars? This is my first BMW |

I have not, but it's strictly 93 octane for me.
