M8 H&R Spacers

First off big thanks to Ben at RG Sport for the quick turnaround and great pricing for the set of H&R Spacers. Ben is a sponsor on the forums and I have been working with him for several years.

After a couple calls with Ben we decided the data we had on the f90 m5 and m8 being so similar Was enough for me to give it a try to run similar spacer sizing. RG sport is not local to me so no test fits.

Went with 11f 11r. M5 guys are running 15/12 11/11. 15/12 is the max with rubbing on lowered m5’s. Since I won’t be lowered for a while I went on the conversative side with a 11 in the front. Still had some doubt about the m5 and m8 being that similar. Nobody had actually taken measurements.

Took about 30 mins to install all 4. Used a jack and normal hand tools to install. The m8 sits pretty low and my jack wouldn’t fit under without using a piece of wood to lift the the car up a little. Don’t have a low profile jack. Not sure what the wheel torque specs are but the lug nuts came off very easy. Almost too easy. They should of been at 105 pounds but didn’t feel like it

Ben includes a packet of anti seize which is awesome having everything you need to install

The 11 in the rear is perfect. Pokes a little at stock height but gives the rear a much more aggresive stance. The 11 did wonders in the front but it def can fit the 15. So it looks like the m5 and m8 really have identical offsetss and fitment

I was against spacers before until I was looking for the perfect fitment on my X5m. I have custom forged wheels but getting the right stance fitment is tough. I ended up pushing my X5m out 5 in the front and 12 in the back. No issues, vibration etc. if you buy a quality product like H&R there is nothing you need to worry about. I got extended lugs also

Sorry for the sideways pics. Haven’t figured out how to correct them
