M8 owners coming from F90 M5

Is it really that big of a difference to spend $30,000-$50,000 extra? The car doesn't even sound as good as the M5Comp. Seems as if Regulations had to tone down the crackles and pops.. still haven't driven one yet, as no dealer has one. Curious to hear feedback

My opinion the car gives a boom as you see it, it's a very aggressive styling car and it's extremely more luxurious than the m5 the features are also sick, it's not a huge difference in performance upgrade, but it's definitely a huge upgrade in looks and comfort is is totally and no brainer if you should get one ask the dealer for a flagship discount which is 7k off sticker price ,. I happen to have 1 of 2 of the only m8 in the us now which is the frozen blue fully loaded m8

Performance wise they are very similar cars. Practicality is not. The back seats are useless. I have small kids and just need to leave car seats in the back just in case. Would prob use my X5m to haul the fam around

The car seats fit but there is literally no leg room for my 5 and 7 years old. I would have to move my driving position and I am not a big guy. 5’10

My only grumble with the car right now. Confused how big of a car with almost no back seats

The more direct comparison would be between M5 and M8GC. It boils down to numerous intangibles which convince the potential buyer to select one style or another while considering the price difference.

My choice would be M8GC Comp. I prefer GC styling over a traditional sedan.

Have to agree as same situation for my M850i coupe but I have no kids so not really a concern. When I took my initial test drive back in July before placing my order I'm not even sure how my SA fit in the back (he was literally laying across the seats) as my wife was in the passenger seat. I joked at the time that the back seat is just there to hold a box of Kleenex and the sun visor. Have the former there now and plan on picking up the sun visor soon.
