I know I had it for couple of days and made some videos! Lets see how wide are the wheels!

Amazing! Now this is design language I can get behind. The crazy grill from the 7/X7 I cannot.

Other than that, it could be a nice car though.
IMO I agree that this latest leaked pic is the M8 GranCoupe BUT there are prototypes of the M8 GranCoupe (see pic below) fitted with the same "agressive" ducktail spoiler as the one seen a few moths ago on the leaked pics of the M8 Competition Coupe.

Also, I believe all the M8 competition models will come standard with black shadow line trim accents on the front facia, side/fender air breather, rear diffuser and rear boot/trunk lid spoiler; having these same components in carbon fiber will be an optional extra. IMO the black shadow line trim looks way better aesthetically than carbon fiber.

I wasn't actually referring to the spoiler lip added on top of the trunklid but to the shape of the trunklid itself, which has one main edge on the Gran Coupé instead of two consecutive edges on the Coupé/Cabriolet.

I actually like this grill compared to any others I've seen. I think my main problem with let's say the current 3 series is that the top part of the grill is fake. Or to put it another way, the entire grill is useful & the grill doesn't intrude on the top of the hood as much as in the 3 series, it kinda just sticks out....ok, I don't know exactly how to say it..it looks better to me than the X7, 3 series, etc. Love the Z4 grill as well

I really believe this was sanctioned by the marketing team to generate some hype and block competition sales.

I can't say about all the countries, but in Russia we have some special wraps with locks for cases like that (so it's impossible to unwrap it without the key). And the car is always guarded by our HQ (BMW Russia) employees.

I hope the m8 won’t follow the same price strategy as mercedes when it comes to their 4 door coupe.
nurburgring:
-amg gt63: 7:25
-e63s wagon: 7:45

yea barely faster. also hate to ruin your dreams of a $100k m8, but this is at the top of the line in bmw's lineup. it won't be cheap and people who can actually afford this car won't care.
It'll most likely be a $130-$140k car and a $80k car 3 years after that.

Guaranteed it will be a lot lower than that in 3 years.
2016 M6s with 145k MSRP are going for 60s right now
