Definitely recommend the 8 series all season rubber mats though. |

I thought really hard on the Ivory/Blue but knew no way in hell I was going to be able to have light colored carpet... Putting the black mats down just didn't seem like it would look good. Do you mind sharing a photo?

My wife has it in her X5--it's very nice. I have Silverstone Full Merino in my M8 and I'd be hard pressed to tell them apart if they're not side by side.

I have it in my X7, very similar to limeypride 's M5 actually, just with full leather. It's definitely been one of my favorite BMW interiors. His and mine have the dark (night blue) carpets, though. it would be a hard no for me having light carpets as they come in the 8, but that's just because my interior carpet cleaning/detailing game is pretty weak.

I cannot speak for IW/Night Blue other than it looks beautiful in photos. My '17 M4 Comp had full Ivory White individual interior and while its an incredible looking interior with some contrasting stitching/carbon ect, it is a pain in the ass to keep clean. Worth it though

Thank you for all of your input. My question is has anyone NOT liked it and why? My last x5 we ordered had beige seats and leather dash in a brown accent which sounded good in theory, however, it conflicted with the black c-pillars and headliner and really bothered me. This made me lose confidence in BMW interior design.
I'm thinking that they will do a great job on the Ivory, I am just worried that the navy pillars and headliner may be a color that does not seem rich or match enough. I love the idea of a Navy color verses an average black. It's just hard to decide by just looking at photos. |

My 8 interior
Hello, have Ivory and Blue in my 840iGC M sport, I previously had Ivory in my 6 series GC and after 7 years the side bolsters started showing signs of wear (getting in and out). The Cream carpets were as good the day I sold it as the day I bought it (I used rubber once the Autumn arrived and swapped back to the velour in the Spring). I had all the rubber mats "included" at no cost with the 8 as part of the deal
The Full Merino in the 8 is superb, The Blue headlining and pillars are in Alcantara (I opted for the Pan Roof as the amount of light it gives into the car is great and shows off the colour combination superbly. The door "caps" dash and Steering wheel are all in Blue with the contrast stiching, does look brilliant. Seat belts are in cream ( I was initially disappointed as wanted the M sport ones, however they do look much better against the Blue. Down sides NONE, except the price |
