We had some pretty big waves along the coast this week. I always take a few days along with Veteran'd day for a fall vacation and this year did wine country and the Sonoma coast.

I attempted super moon photos last night and I must say, it was one of the most difficult subjects I have ever photographed. I think I have maybe one or two that turned out ok, but neither are a good as the above. I just wish I had a bit of editing skills to see what I could make out of what I did get.
Thanks for the inspiration... Looking at the information on these two photos, I think my issue was with ignorance of my camera. I was unable to get it to go to anything higher than 250, I started at f11 and went down to f6.5, but I think the two best were f10 and f11. Also it amazes me how small it is even with a 300mm.
