Eventuri Filters

How do you guys maintain yours? I'm about 18 months in and haven't done anything yet.

Definitely noticing less swishing. About $200 to replace both filters. Probably do it when the Spring pollen clears. But don't know if its worth it compared to the other options like Compressed air or cleaning kit?

I’m in the same boat… about 20months and haven’t cleaned it.. I don’t think it’s worth replacing the filter instead of cleaning it

looks like a pain in the ass just to remove it with the allen keys. they recommend going in there to clean every 3500mi which is about every 3 months?

I did mine not long ago it was actually quite simple. The hard part was having to wait till they dried fully to finish up and re oil.

I’m pretty sure I heard in one of the eVolve Imran’s video that you don’t actually need to re-oil eventuri filters

Yeah I'm not sure, I just used the cleaning/oil kit that was sold with the one I bought. I did notice there is something on it when I cleaned it. kinda a red tint if I remember correctly. It would be nice if we don't have too though.

I almost always try to have two sets but when I got mine they didn't have the filters to sell with it. But its a good idea that way you can just plug and play and take time to clean the others.

BMC sells a kit with a cleaner and oil. Use the oil sparingly.

Update reached out to Eventuri, they no longer recommend putting the oil on after using the wash detergent. That's great news. They also said their cleaning kit will no longer come with the oil just FYI.
