The only way to get the massive 20%+ discount on the M8s is to find one that is a "launch" car.
These cars have extra money in them that allows the dealer to go deep. M8 convertible in 3 colors M8 comp coupe in 3 colors the rest are discounted less because there is no extra flagship |

I meant that there have been zero 2020 M850i convertibles here in Phoenix since the 2020 launch. I just checked cars.com and there are 11 on the ground in the US which is still an incredibly low number. Interestingly for the 2019s all the coupes are gone but there are still 10 convertibles out there screaming for a great deal.

I was told that the launch car coupe is a Competition model in Black Sapphire with an ivory/tartufo two-tone interior and priced at $156,695.

Not always, My launch M8 came white/red, fully loaded almost the exact spec I wanted. The only thing I wouldn't take on the car if I built it myself is the M drivers package.

Just 2500 more bucks in bs depreciation added onto the msrp LOL... so much better to take the school (if you want) via BMW CCA.

I asked our dealer who we have bought many cars from about a Competition convertible and they offered me an 8% discount. What should be the minimum discount I accept from a dealer?

I'd imagine you can get close to 20% off msrp including all rebates and deals on a car that's been sitting on the lot for 3 months. Maybe 15% of it's new to the lot. maybe 10% on a customer special order?? that's my best guess. |

I’ve been offered this deal on a M8 Comp Coupe;
Inceptions only + 7 MSDs, 7500 miles/year, 159K MSRP; $1350 incl tax. That’s $30k discount plus $3000 loyalty. I’m tempted. |

that’s seems really low based on the data you provided. what is your total drive offs? what’s your tax rate? you would need to be much more than 20 percent off to achieve a payment 1350 with tax included
haven’t seen the residual for 7500 miles but for 10k is 54 percent. usually going down to 7500 maybe you get 2 percent max. if you can get minimal drive off plus your msd i say take the deal and don’t look back. my m5 quote with 12 percent off plus loyalty was 1350 on a 122 sticker inc 9.25 tax. mf was pumped up but with buy rate it would prob drop me into the high 1200 range unless you got really low tax and residual above 58 the math doesn’t add up. |
