The lightest in its class.. By a mile.
300 lbs lighter than S Class Coupe! 100 lbs lighter than RS 7. If you want light, there are other models.

Now THIS looks good.
If this is how the normal 8 series looks- i can't even begin to imagine how aggressive/stunning the m8 will look. Take my deposit now

Exterior is a definite win and I actually prefer the regular car with the silver blades in the front grill, but I do feel the interior is kinda of bland. Really dislike what BMW is doing with their nav screens now, the side bezels have become unnecessary huge just for the sake of making the thing look like a trapezoid. That's something I'd definitely change if I had the car (we can dream 😇

I'm not sure why people are thinking this is a $100k base car. That's about where the equivalent 6er was. This is supposed to be an upgrade from that car to compete with the Merc S Klasse coupe, and that car starts around $125k. BMWs are usually a bit less expensive, so I'd guess this car starts out at $115 - $120k.

Nice
Very nice design, maybe with a complex rear end.
Interior seems nice but more sporty thank luxurious. Digital dash: maybe I am too old school as the rev counter goes anti clockwise... this is a fad and not logical if derived from motorsports. Overall well done. |

What a shame that the cupholder/storage area doesn't close flush with the dashboard like it does on the Concept. Really defeats the purpose of this Aston Martin-like dashboard style as a flowing extension of the center console.

the " first ever M8" is coming.. the " first ever M8 competition " will follow... likely followed by an M8 CS..... so.. sometime around THEN... perhaps you can start start THINKING about making a comparison between this GT car based on pricing between it and the 911 Turbo S.. even though the 911 is a full on sports car. . |
