According to BMW Spec, the difference in weight is "30kg" 2055kg vs 2085kg for the M850GC.

Here's a link to the PDFs from BMW

Yesterday, I heard that the 8 Series will replace the Alpina B7 based on the G70, i.e., the G73... there will be massage seats. So BMW is probably saying goodbye to the Coupé, Gran Coupé, and Roadster models for good. No one wants to buy such cars. They are offering big discounts on the M4 CS. There was the Final Edition 8 Series, now there is the Final Edition Z4, and soon there will be the Final Edition 4 Gran Coupe and Final Edition M4. The large SUV family will remain in the offer: X1, X1i, X2, X2i, X3, X3i, X4i, X5, X5i, X6, X6i, X7, X7i, XM, iX, as well as the 3 Series + Touring, 5 Series + Touring, and 7 Series.
Perhaps by introducing Alpina to its range, BMW will want to patch up its poor portfolio, which lacks gran coupé/coupé cars.

Doesn’t make sense no Coupe for future.
I know there is no news about 6 er but there might be a plan for 6 er as coupe?
What about 2 er?

The return to the 6er is just some very old rumors. There was supposed to be a new generation of the 8 series (G75/G76/G77/G93), but it was shelved and will no longer be produced, because no one has seen a prototype on public roads for three years. The only thing we see is the limited edition Skytop prototype.
The 2 Series had a facelift in mid-2024. I don't know how long they will produce it because they keep changing the dates. Maybe another 2-3 years for sure, but I doubt that a new generation will be produced.

So if there is no more Coupe then Current 4 / 8 series coupe will be collectible cars in future as the last ICE coupes.

Yes, the M4/M8 in particular. I'm still wondering how they will adapt this model to the EURO7 emissions standard at the end of M4 production. Will they reduce the car's power? Or will they officially increase the power a little compared to today's M4 Comp, and after EURO7 the car will be slower?

Really? I didn't know.
I thought M4CS is as fast as M8 Coupe in 1/4 mile
TBH I love M4CS but compare to M4CX it's not a special car.
I mean you can build a fully loaded M4CX at cheaper price ($110k) maintains the same purpose.

For example, in Poland, you can get a 28% discount on the M4 CS, but you can still go a little lower.

People don't want to buy the M4 and are standing around at dealerships. Customers are choosing the M3 sedan. That's why the future of the 4 Series is bleak and it will be discontinued without a successor.

Our colleague from Carwow who drives an M4 CS hasn't been in touch, and he was supposed to write to me when he was in Poland, but from what he wrote, his car is not capable of achieving the same 60-130mph/100-200km/h as the M8

Oh the owner of that black M4CS claimed his car is not tuned and can complete quarter mile in 10.8 seconds?
BTW have you seen the new Carwow show?
M4CS vs 911 GT3.
This M4CS is 11.1 seconds car not 10.8

Oh, what a surprise! A bit faster than the M3 CS, perhaps? If I remember correctly

As expected as fast as M3CS since both are the same and have the same drivetrains.
Both 11.1 seconds.
