This is most likely whats happening. I was at the dealer couple days ago and was told there is flagship money on the 8 series to try and help move the cars.

Time is somewhat of the essence now since the car's at the dealer and I plan to take delivery this coming Wednesday.

I wonder at what point do the issue with the coronavirus and the anti-trust EU issues and China's falling sales start to impact BMW NA enough to give us some better incentives? I stopped by the dealer this past weekend and my SA said that traffic has really dropped and not much is moving.

I spoke with my SA yesterday about the topic. He's locked in the MD area and he personally along with his dealership sales have been doing well so far. He is also not doubting that BMW NA may not give better incentives based on the vehicle. I'm hoping that be the case, as I'm starting the order process April 1st for a 2020 M850i. I'll have one or two chances to take advantage of any change in incentives for the better.

My advice is to negotiate the greatest discount off of MSRP you can when placing the order. Everything else, e.g., Financing APR, lease rate MF/residual and incentives will all automatically apply from what is offered during the month the M850i lands. To your dealer's point the other variables may get better logic at least states as per the current market they will not get worse.

At this point, I'm looking at 11% of MSRP.

Forgot about that from the other thread on discounts. For a 2020 M850i that sounds like a good deal to me as 5% over my discount!

Dealer is offering me a lease on a 2019 in an individual color at $1099/month+tax with 12k miles a year and $5000 down. Haven't sat down to discuss actual numbers so not sure how much below MSRP that comes out to. Sound like a good deal?

A little more info on the car. From my understanding it was a special order but ended up coming in without the correct parking assist package (doesn't come with parking sensors or cameras, only the reverse camera) so customer ordered another one. Sounds similar to what I've been reading happened to others on here. Car has been sitting on lot for months. Just curious if what they offered is the absolute best off they can make like they are saying or if it's possible to get it a little lower.
