This M8 could work, looks good, but wow is it big, fat, and expensive ... I don't know how it can ever compete with a Bentley so ... I sense discounting!

Ultimately I think this thing will drive too far out of the performance zone, but I'll take it if I can get a good deal.
Puts me too in a bind with ya, but as I had a SCH recently (haven't posted the details as engine is still in the shop) for my F83 ZCP, I not sure which direction to go: M8 coupé, M8 vert, or F83 that S55 loves to spun crank hub. Have around 9 months to make my decesion

It was either wait for this, gt63s or gt3. I went with gt3. No regrets #nosubstitutes

You can never out S-Class Coupe an S-Class Coupe.
I can't see anyone mistaking this for a 4 series lmao the 8 series doesn't really look like anything BMW currently offers. It stands out much more than the recent 3 to 5 series cars.

The blue (what color is it?) M8 Coupe is good enough to be accepted in automotive heaven on visual appearance alone. With Sakhir Orange interior, the gods will send a tow truck to facilitate the entry.

Still waiting for M8 Gran Coupe. Need extra doors.

Panamera turbo still looks better inside and outside. But BMW lease is better. Hard to decide.

maybe different people have different taste. I love my Panamera turbo. My lease will end December 2020. I might go with Panamera again with different color and interior. But the price is kind of high compare with BMW( now I am paying $2650/month. 36 months lease 10k miles/year. 10k out the door for a 170k msrp car)

Well it's too bad that rumors indicate the S coupe is headed to the graveyard.

The Lexus LC hasn't caught on with buyers either.

Seems like BMW will be the go-to gran tourer in this segment for customers.

M5 looks great but at the end of the day it's still a luxury sedan, meaning it's a total dad car.

M8 is way cooler.

The price of the vehicle I drove was $190K. Difficult to spend this amount.

Disappointed. It should of come out the gate with 650hp.. I don't know why their flagship would share specs with the M5.

At least the digital dash has different looks, but why not a traditional M look as an option?

After being blown away by the design of the concept I just can't help but be disappointed with how this turned out.

Hopefully the track mode and other M settings find their way to new M3, which will actually be on a track.

I'm guessing emissions would be a concern, they would need to validate extra versions of the engine. The best we could have hoped for is both the M5 and M8 get slight bumps at the same time which could happen at the LCI maybe?

It does look good. I can see cruising on the French coast w this car w the kids in the back in a grande coupe. It does not give me the feeling I had w the last gen M6.

Shame someone deleted my past of this car previously.

The figures are all right and it seems like a winner when it comes to the figures.
But this car is hard to like!
I've tried to like it but never actually understood it.
Mostly because of all the new attributes the designers want us to get used to.
The kidneys look different for each and every car released lately. Looks pretty good on this one, have to give it to them.
The Hoffmeister kink is...well I can't see it so much anymore.
The rear part is a little bit BMW but most of the design is not familiar. Actually the best looking BMW right now is the 5-series (my opinion).
They nailed the design on the regular 5-series and the M5, but this one doesn't inspire.
Thought the 8-series would be a competitor to the S-class coupe, but the S-class looks much more serious and classy, and don't forget that it has also real backseats...

Does anybody know who the head of exterior design is, now that Jozeph Kaban is out of the picture?

Forgot to mention something about the "cockpit"...
This is actually a car and not a fighter jet, so please stop this nonsense about double rev counters and keep it clean.
