Sure it was irresponsible but every one was making comments like he deserved to die for his actions. Sorry but no one deserves to be killed for this, he was hellish lucky he didn't nor anyone else for that matter but without hearing his side of what happened we are all casting judgement on after the event, none of us seen what cause the car to dart off the highway like that.

P.S.
By all means critisize his driving but don't wish the man to be died, especially without knowing the whole story from start to end.
are you really that dense? i feel an addendum is necessary seeing as how you can't comprehend what i'm saying. the only circumstances which 'get him off-the-hook' are if he either had some sort of serious mechanical malfunction or he had a physical issue (blacked out, fainted, whatever). other than those two, there is nothing that could possibly condone his actions and i think he very well deserves to die.

edit: after that new article posted, i think we (even you) can agree that it appears to have been a conscious decision on the kids part. i hope he gets destroyed by the legal system in this case.

Anyone that wishes other people to die really should seek some professional help.

Accidents like that usually end up with the driver and/or passengers reduced to an asymmetrical red blob on the freeway concrete.

I don't know if you can call the driver "lucky" (as he'll probably never be the same person, physically and mentally), but he somehow lived. That, in itself, is his story to tell if he ever gets that old.

Frankly I think murderers and child rapists are two people that deserve to die, but someone speeding does not fall into that category with me. So sorry I don't get your point.

Also, though my position of his actions have definitely shifted I still wouldn't wish him died, unless further evidence appears that he fall into one of those two categories at which point he could burn in hell as far as I'm concerned. Oh and yes I also hope the justice system does come down on him hard.
