Would you invited us: (the Brisbanian) to your work place to have our car washed?

Funnily enough, the place I was working for put me up in a farmhouse B&B. They run exclusively on tank water alone and I asked how full their tank was. Anyway, their 22,000L tank (for their cottage) is 1 rung from the top (their main house has 44,000 L tank capacity), so i didn't feel too bad in asking him if i could wash my car. I asked him how many liters he thought I used, and he said about 10! But I'm going back this weekend too, to work again (pay my car off!!), but this time I will wash the car at the end of my stay, because driving on their dirt driveway puts a fine layer of dust on the car!!

In the same boat here Ed. We should have our Slimline water tank in a couple of weeks, but the problem is getting the rainfall to fill it. The lawn and plants can die, as long as the car is clean
Only thing to watch out for is the price of the tanks just about goes up each month. Ours is about $200 dearer than the quote was for it 2 months ago We live in inner West Brisbane, and we have friends who live near manly who have still been able to wash their car witha hose. That may have changed now as it was a couple of months ago they told me this, but it seemed bizarre that a property 1/2 hour away could be so liberal with their water Kev |

Im so weary nowadays of companies jacking up their tank prices ! And in melb recently, a factory thta had tanks in their premises, had their tanks stolen!! the thieves organized a truck and a forklift to steal the tanks!! FAR OUT! thats determination! forget stealing pioneer tvs etc...its tanks they want!!!
