E90 - 320i Owners Club
Since the 320i accounts to over 60% of three series sales in Australia, I tough it will be great if we start a forum and share our cars pictures, mods, and tech info here.

Great idea Ivanwibi. But unfortunately my 320i is stock a standard exec, and I'm not into mods. The tech info interests me though. I'm always trawling the general forum for this.

I did investigate of ways to have PDC without ugly 'holes', I found a product through Repco, it is a strip of magnetic coil, install just being the plastic bar, it detects the impedance change and thus report if there are obstacles, I found it through a wheels magazine advert., they have a website, but I lost the address, your best bet is to ring Repco/or mobile installer out there and describe the PDC, if you do not mind the hole then you should get something from smart park or Bosch http://www.bosch.com.au/content/language1/html/1546.htm (I think a cheapy from Taiwan would not cut it for a BMW, and it may not work after 6-12 months and left ugly holes)
PS : I got two cheap PDCs new in box (they sent me two after ordering one at Ebay), was going to put it in my LR, decided not to proceed cause it might work intermittently and leave lots of holes instead.

Here it is
It arrives after 2 months of wait, fantastic form, great to drive, and to look at.
Ride is firm, harsher on a very bumpy surfaces, after a few days, it had settle down (my preception had changed or maybe the suspension loosen up a bit), anyway, handles like it is on rail specially at higher speed - hwy. Steering is direct and responsive, steering input is followed by immidiete response of direction change. I am very impressed with how the whole things tied together. I have owned SAAB 9-5, VOLVO 850, C180K (W203), HONDA Integra Vti-R. Will post other pics on request.

We have to wait until Nov or even Dec to pick up our 320i Exec,Jet Black with Lemon leather + Brushed Alu trim (was ordered Terracotta but after seen the real car change mind immediately) + Sport steering wheels. It needs to factory order.
I'm the same as dobes. Car is for wife and she doesn't want bumpy ride but I was thinking it will look nicer with lowered look. |
