I loosened some to the bolts on the black painted metal piece to give me as much wiggle room as I could get. It did end up scratching the black metal piece but the plastic shroud that covers the whole front hid that.
***What a pain in the ass!! LOL

Yeah that would probably give you the room to pivot it if the charge cooler went in the way

Just fill up that main resivor (drivers side) and leave the cap off. It will take on dome fluid just pouring and waiting.

Once it’s not seeming to fill anymore go in side driver seat and with key in hand or close by hit the start button 3 times quickly. Feet not on anything but the floor so it doesn’t start.
Should see a message on dash above steering wheel that says diagnostic mode. Once you see this. Hold your foot on the gas pedal for about 15-20 seconds.

Then lift your foot off and leave everything as is for about 30 min or so. You can stay by and watch but it will take some time. You’ll hear the pumps turn on and off and you’ll see the fluid inside the reskin or moving or flowing a bit. Then it all shuts off.

After that. I put the cap on and started it up for a minute and then shut off and re checked the fluid level. I added a little more at this point but not much. Maybe a pint.

I’m anal. So I continued to check the level for the next few days and all was well.

I also opened the cap to the inter cooler redouble as well when doing the flush just to vent everything.
Does the car shut down during pump run?
Can almost dead battery prevent pump from running?
Thanks!

I have no doubt they run great. I’m just wondering how they conpare to the CSF. As I did mention I read some runours that PG and CSF coolers come from the same factory and PG collers are wayy cheaper

Yea looking at $1,000 difference. I’ve had friends who have had both on their m5’s and cars performed the exact same with no issues.

Hi, looking at doing this mod. Curious how long this took you to complete the install, add coolant, put all back together, etc???
