Maintainance recommendations...
Purchased my 2020 M8 convertible a few months ago, with only 2,300 miles.
It's now 3.5 yrs old, now 4,000 miles. The folowing M8 maintainance schedule says at 36 months or 30,000 miles, it needs: 1. Replace the engine oil and filter. 2. Replace engine intake air filter. 3. Replace the spark plugs. 4. Change the brake fluid (the first service is based on 36 mos). I'm going to do the engine oil & filter change this week, but even with the low miles, should I go ahead the do items 2, 3, & 4 also, or wait until later when I add more miles...? Thanks, |

Has it ever had an oil change? Is it dirty? Has it been sitting in a moist spot?
I'd doubt the air filter needs replaced unless your in a very dusty area. Look at it. if it's not too dirty save your money. I wouldn't change the plugs with only 4k on them. The brake fluid is a yes. Brake fluid absorbs water so it's a good idea to flush it and replace it. |
