Should consider a custom FOB for your B8; it makes it stand out compared to all the regular BMW fobs compared to the Alpina logo'd fob.
You can color match it, change it around or even put the Alpina logo int he center (color or like I did). I am getting an Alpine White with white interior, so of course, I went this route. It's a special project I am working to present to Alpina, can cover more of that later. :-) |

Any Help?
Guys,
Anyone with a 2022 or 2023 Alpina B8, do you know what other cars share the same brake components? I know its not the M8, cause our rear rotors are bigger, was maybe told that it was the 840i, I need to find out these measurements in order to shop wheels, as no one has details on the B8. |

The calipers are Bespoke? the rotors are the same as the M840i, i do not think Alpina made special calipers for the B8, i think its just a colored version not a bespoke. |

just got word I have a production number for my B8! Only allocation for my dealer for 2023 now the wait begins!
It seems most order the Alpina blue or green, but I just wasn't a fan and went with Skyscraper Grey. What color is/will y'alls be? |

So my B8 has been "Ready for Transport" for about a week now. I'm speculating that will remain the case until it goes to Alpina, gets reworked, and comes back to BMW, and gets on a train for Bremerhaven.
Does anyone have the straight scoop on this? Am I looking at weeks? Months? Just trying to get some info. Thanks!

Thank you, that's about what I expected. I think that's the time it takes Alpina to do their magic, but I'm only speculating. Congrats (I think) on yours being completed (I think).

Upgraded M Rotors for the US Alpina B8
Anyone wants the M-drilled rotors to look better behind the wheels.
Here ya go; it took me a ton of time to work with Alpina Germany and also some friends in the right place to get this. M performance Drilled – 395mmF / 398mm R Front 34-10-6-887-657 and 34-10-6-887-658 - $435.01 Rear 34-20-6-896-221 and 34-20-6-896-222 - $333.10 Best pricing on parts from BMW, hands down, is here (shocking i know, its a dealer, but they offer better pricing on any OEM part i need and no one on the entire internet can even come close, no clue how they do it, with free shipping too) The drilled M rotors total from https://www.genuinebmwminiparts.com are $1,569.22 to your door. Its about the same price that Alpina charges for this upgrade. For anyone that wants to know what you can get from Alpina that you cannot get here.. Use Google Translate if you are curious.. There is other options, but this is what i saw I wanted but cant get here. 21CSS - ALPINA CLASSIC 21" Schmiederad, lackiert in Schwarz (other colors too) 7M9 - Shadow Line Hochglanz mit erweiterten Umfängen. 453 - Aktive Sitzbelüftung vorn 1AL3 - Lenkrad Ausführung in ALPINA LAVALINA, nach Kundenwunsch 1ASW - SWITCH-TRONIC Schaltwippen aus Vollaluminium, CNC gefräst 5AZ - BMW Laser Licht 420 - Sonnenschutzverglasung 358 - Klimakomfort-Frontscheibe 208G - Hochleistungs-Bremsanlage You can build your own here: https://www.alpina-configurator.com/...475a23a6abfa27 Pricing on the EURO is about the same as the USD, so their models go for 20-30k EURO more.. hi there, I placed my order July 8. The dealer was clear they had no allocation and set my expectations for a few months' wait. They did seem surprised the order was confirmed so quickly, so I would not be worried if your wait is a bit longer. Cheers and good luck!

is it BMW grey like all other models or does it match the interior carpet color you go with? Considering getting an Alpina leather matching trimmed carpet set and trunk matt. (attached pics) PS You can also order custom steering wheels for the Alpina, either with custom stitching or even leather color changes. Not too insane on price either. 1AL2 Steering wheel in ALPINA LAVALINA Special Design, hand finished with bespoke stiltching EUR 571.43 1AL3 Steering wheel in ALPINA LAVALINA, bespoke (this means you can change the leather colour) EUR 747.90 |

Nope. BMW is done with it, and it's been showing "Ready for Transport" for three weeks now. They don't have a "Sent to Alpina" stage, so it looks as if it will sit here until Alpina sends it back to BMW.
Earlier mercer@251 comment said expect about 4 weeks at Alpina. For comparison, a co-worker ordered an iX, which tracked through manufacturing day-for-day with mine. His is on a ship, scheduled to dock in the US in about 10 days.

A bit off topic, but there's a little known Alpina online shop that has some interesting items.
One you want for sure is the Lavalina Leather kit for keeping the steering wheel conditioned. https://shop.alpina-automobiles.com/en/accessories/

I made the mistake of using my regular leather conditioner on the steering wheel and it totally changed the feel and texture, making it too glossy. I'm hoping the Lavalina kit will bring it back to life. Question for the B8 guys: Did your car come with the leather owners manual case and the Alpina key chain? Hopefully it did because that's what I received with my XB7.
