RaceChip Difficultlies

I had a RaceChip GTS black for my M5 and it worked flawlessly. Got rid of that car and got a M850i convertible for my move to FL. I quickly shipped the Racechip back to Germany to be reprogrammed, it arrived back quickly so I reinstalled and it wouldn't turn on. Completely DOA.

After a little back and forth with Germany again, they said for me to send it back. I did.

2nd Racechip arrived today and I rushed to install it. Well... Dead again, won't activate, Bluetooth doesn't connect, won't light up...

Germany originally thought my harness was fine so they didn't replace it. Now I feel that the harness might be causing the issue. Engine light won't turn off either since I tried installing the first RaceChip... any one have thoughts on this?

Can you email me pictures on how the harness hooked up?

Thank you limeypride for the page.

BMWCARGUYM5X5 As I expected.
You plugged them to Secondary O2 sensors.
Both modules are burned since O2 sensors sent out 12Volts and pin-out differently.

The Boost sensors are a sensor connected to the intercooler itself, so the other end won't be a wire. Let me see if I have some pictures.

I thought I followed the directions and pictures that were inside the box perfectly. Is this an easy fix? A side is on the right and B side is on the left if you're facing the engine. Everything snapped together perfectly. Did I damage anything?

Location won't be exactly the same. But it is a sensor attached directly to the intercooler. Not another wire on the other end.

You don't damage your car, you just been damaging the Modules since wrong voltage went to different pin.

Side A or B doesn't matter in your case.

Yes, thank you to BMW for using the same connector for O2 sensors and the Boost sensors.

The other easy way to figure it out, if you notice the connector that you are plugged-in now, it have a big grey locking tab.
The correct connector is small white locking tab.
