If you go to any BMW website the letters and outline change between black and white depending on the background. Pretty neat.
On cars though, I wonder if they will use different colors depending on the paint? Last edited by Weiman; 03-03-2020 at 04:43 PM.. |

Maybe this is BMWs attempt to move away from the kind of person who bitches about grills and logos?
Great move, fanboys need to calm down. |

BMW's social media accounts and official global homepage have been updated with the new logo effective today.
The social media handles for BMW AG (i.e., Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, etc.) use a soft-light type of background overlayed with the new logo. ![]() While the BMW Motorsport social media accounts use the same transparent logo with the coveted M colors mixed in as the background. ![]() Interesting versatility of the new logo and kind of reminds me of the vintage 1970s BMW Motorsport roundel somewhat. ![]()

I love the new logo. Most companies refresh their brand very 10-20 or so years.
I just wish they would remove the blue and white and make them matte and polished silver—a smart monochromatic scheme. |

They just need to tweak it with the new logo.
The redesign was recently completed. |

As stated earlier, I really like the new logo. Kind of curious though how the white bmw font will look on a white car. Wondering if the color changes depending on the car.

Exactly. I see it working well on a lot of existing models. Especially the gray tone cars. I am just wondering what they do on fx Misano blue.
Also I am wondering why they made it a silent release. It is just a short note in the press release for the i4.

EDIT: Thanks to timmahh for pointing out the error in my avatar. Now fixed!
