His m5 is m5 comp, dp, exhaust and 91 oct tune

So at 900 your car will be unstoppable
Unstoppable vs stock cars? Or unstoppable period? A bolt on Turbo S would fly away from one in a standing start or roll.
Vs stock super cars that are triple the price

To bolt in 911 to even keep up with m5 will be in tens of thousands and to bold on m5 to beat 911 is 1-2k at most
Mod for mod, a bolt on Turbo S is going to fly away from the M5/8.

When you find a bolt on M that can do 147 1/4 mile and 181.6 1/2 mile like my bolt on Turbo S, come back to me.

Great

A lighter smaller more aerodynamic Turbo S AWD Two seater with PDK...

Against a tuned family sedan

The win is a fast M5/M8 high luxury and phenomenal performance
He's the one that first brought up the comparison to a 911 Turbo S, not me.

it was a basic analogy so you understand my point. you cant compare a street race car with modifications with a large saloon with basic modifications and think its an even comparison.

you asked me to show a bmw m that can come close to your porsche's time and i showed you the one that would destroy it.

Wrong. I said:

When you find a bolt on M that can do 147 1/4 mile and 181.6 1/2 mile like my bolt on Turbo S, come back to me.

I know that M3 and it is not "bolt on" The motor has come out and was completely rebuilt to handle the boost from the added supercharger. Same thing with those F80 M3's. Their motor has been built.

You obviously have no idea what bolt ons are if you think a built motor is a "bolt on".

I've owned many 911 Turbos over the years, very few cars can touch them in the QM let alone when the boost gets increased. Relatively lightweight, significantly underrated power, and in combo with the all wheel drive is hard to beat. Miss the air-cooled versions dearly, and wish I'd kept any of mine especially the Kremmer.

Had to argue what is better. It’s personal taste. Vanilla or chocolate.

My brother picked up a new gt3 rs and that is a different realm of car. I am not even going to try to compare the m8 to it cause they are not in the same category

I have 3 M’s in the garage. Love the brand but can’t say there isn’t better out there

Somewhat true, but a new BMW M5 will never have a cockpit like this:

(referencing the manual transmission, of course)

But really, amazing M8! I'm daily driving a 991 GT3 looking for a family hauler. Considering an M8GC and these threads make me want one!

Grand coupe is not such a proper pick for a family hauler, it's only 2 in the back, but then it all depends on family size

8 series GC trunk is kind small, wish they had hinged all the way towards the roof...

Though if I had gone for 8 series GC I would definitely go for 850 instead of M8, I don't need the extra power, 850 would be insanely fast enough for me...

I'm coming from a f90 and that's the perfect family super sedan it's sooo good in that aspect, reason I go m8 is it's more Exclusize it's like a Supercar

Keep in Mind there is a major night and day difference with just one option that the 850 doesn't have and that being able to switch from awd to rwd and the engine is completely different and more robust.
