And that rear spoiler is super wimpy looking.
I agree spoiler should be more aggressive

Question on the HP comment at the beginning of the video that this is M divisions most powerful car; at 620 HP and 750 Nm - he says. First depending on the rating system - it's either 617 or 625 and 553 lb ft. Second - those are the exact numbers for the M5 Competition (and I believe the M8 is also rated at the same power level as the F90 standard M5 - 592/600 HP).

My two questions are; do we believe the HP levels are really the same between the M5/M8? The F90 M5 has already proven to be seriously underrated. I have seen the weight advertised for the M8 vary from slightly less than the F90 M5 and slightly above - 4290 to 4400 lbs. Will BMW give the M8/M8CE more jam to beat out the F90 M5/M5CE?

Echoing many earlier comments about the exhaust with one word that comes to mind - epic.

OEM or aftermarket: it does not matter. I just want one even if neighbors decide to reluctantly relocate.

After that badge removal that spoiler definitely needs a proper replacement ‼️

That would make sense...I am not sure if we will see it when actually tested. I was going to say that it SHOULD be quicker and faster - but it depends what its competition should be; S63 or GT63S? I would think the latter. I shall be watching closely.

Thanks for posting I saw Shmee's video earlier with this car and yeah it's truly going to be an amazing car for years.
It won't sound any better.

That's the decatted version BMW uses for demonstration purposes. Road going version will sound very quiet.
No.

That's a US Spec car with Titanium M Performance Exhaust.
I would be surprised if it is. It made my M3C with MPE sound like a 320i
Well...

SURPRISE!!!!

Literally that's all it is. Since it's a US car it doesn't have OPFs, making the MPE (for off-road use only in markets other than US/CAN), nor does it hurt that it's also in M Mode - Track. Cats are still in place.

If you want an even bigger surprise, that was an emissions certification car and will go on to serve as one of the new Safety Cars.
Why would BMW ship a US spec car all the way back to the UK for GoodWood that will have been straight across the Channel from Munich. Anyhow even more proof this is not an American car is the speed at the end of the hill run is read off the clocks in KPH not MPH which is what you Septic Tanks like us Brits have in our markets vehicles.

Lmao. This is a tuners dream buddy, if you can afford this car first thing you do is put an Akrapovic on there.

You can crank 800hp easy out this thing with a downpipe s and a tune.

So M8 competition flagship of BMW is been praised by exhaust sound that might have been enhanced just for this purpose?
Is that it?
If that is the most impressive feature how loud it is, then cut the exhaust of a small engine 316 and you get a loud sound.
Hear the E60 m5 v10. That I call great sounding engine.
